di Mauro Saglietti

Cari amici,

IMAGINE
ELEANOR CIAMPY
YESTERDAY
YELLOW MONDOVI’
HERE COMES THE NAN
NIENTE NI’, NIENTE MA (OBLADI’ OBLADA’)

Le trovate qui di seguito… e ricordatevi di leggere cantando.

IMAGINE
Imagine there’s no cairots
It’s easy if you try
No rats below us
And no one pure a Sky

Imagine all these picius
winning for one day
Ah

Imagine there’s no Cairo
I know it’s hard to do
No one to hate or cry for,
no vatlu a pié ‘n tel cul

Imagine all his picius
clapping hands to win
You

You may say I’m a dreamer
But you won a derby? One!
I hope someday you’ll leave us
And your world will be a slum

Imagine Panzopoldo
I wonder if you can
No need for food or hungry
no barbeque of men

Imagine all his picius
leaving from this world
You

You may say I’m a winner
Derby? I’ve won more than a one
I hope someday you’ll leave us
And your world will be a slum

ELEANOR CIAMPY
Ah, look at all these lonely piciu
Ah, look at all these lonely piciu

Eleanor Ciampy
Kisses the earth in the church where her Cairo has been
Lives for a crin.
Claps at the window
Wearing a mask that she wears when she goes out the door
Dio mio che scor!
All the lonely piciu
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely piciu
Why do our team support?

Claudia McKenzie
Writing the words of a post that then no one will read
No one comes near her
Look at her berching
Shouting out loud in the night when there’s nobody there
Where is Giampierre?
All the lonely piciu
Where do they all come from?
All the lonely piciu
Why do our team support?

Ah, look at all the lonely piciu
Ah, look at all the lonely piciu

Eleanor Ciampy
built up a church for a man that she filled with his name…
sempre Giampierre
Claudia McKenzie
Wiping the dirt from her ciornia, as she mourns for her age
not even shaved…
All the lonely piciu (ah, look at all the lonely piciu)
Where do they all come from?
All these lonely piciu (ah, look at all the lonely piciu)
Why do our team support?

YESTERDAY
Yesterday
think when Cairo was so far away
Now it looks as though he’s here to stay
Oh, they believed, him yesterday

Suddenly
He’s just half a man, as used to be
Is this low man hanging from a tree?
They hope this day, comes suddenly!

Why he bought Toro,
I don’t know, he wouldn’t pay.
He sold someone wrong,
soon we’ll play on Saturday

Yesterday
Derby is such an awful game to play
Since he’s here it’s just the same replay,
Oh, I believed, him yesterday

Why he has to go,
Yes I know, he will not stay
he did all things wrong,
Now I long him cast away…

Yesterday
four is such an easy score to take
Cairots need a place to hide away,
Oh, they believed, him yesterday
Mm mm mm mm mm mm mm

YELLOW MONDOVI’
In the town where she was born,
came a man just from the sea,
and he told us of his life
in the land of “sai tut mi”

So he smiled just like a dumb,
‘Til he found a sea of Swedes
And he run beneath the waves
to his fellow, in Mondovì

He now lives in a yellow Mondovì
Yellow Mondovì, yellow Mondovì
We all live in a yellow Mondovì
Yellow Mondovì, yellow Mondovì

And his friend are all ciamporns
Maybe one of them live next door
And this ma’am begins to pray…

He now lives all live in a yellow Mondovì
Yellow Mondovì, yellow Mondovì
We all live in a yellow Mondovì
Yellow Mondovì, yellow Mondovì

Now he lives a life of ease
In his mouth he has shining teeth (shining teeth)
But he’s blue (yes he’s blue) to think of Swedes (think of Swedes)
His rage yellow, in Mondovì (his rage yellow, in Mondovì, ha ha)

he now lives in a yellow Mondovì
Yellow Mondovì, yellow Mondovì
he now lives in a yellow Mondovì
Yellow Mondovì, yellow Mondovì
he now lives in a yellow Mondovì
Yellow Mondovì, yellow Mondovì
he now lives in a yellow Mondovì
Yellow Mondovì, yellow Mondovì

HERE COMES THE NAN
Here comes the nan,
Here comes the nan, and I say
It’s not right
Little man pig, you’ve been a long cold lonely winter
Little man pig, It’s fifteen years since you’ve been here
Here comes the nan,
Here comes the nan, and I say
It’s not right!
Little man pig, your smile’s insulting our faces
Little man pig, It’s fifteen years since you’ve been here
Here comes the nan,
Here comes the nan, and I say
It’s not right
Nan, nan, nan, here he comes
Nan, nan, nan, here he comes
Nan, nan, nan, here he comes
Nan, nan, nan, here he comes
Nan, nan, nan, here he comes
Little man pig, I hope your smile will soon be melting
Little man pig, It’s fifteen years since you’ve been here
Here comes the nan
Here comes the nan, and I say
It’s not right!
Here comes the nan
Here comes the nan
It’s not right
It’s not right

NIENTE NI’, NIENTE MA (OBLADI’ OBLADA’)
Cairo takes the Torow to the marketplace
Comi is the eater of the band
Cairo says “Vagnati, go and buy, go, race!”
Vagnati says this, as he has nothing in his hands

Niente “nì”, niente “ma”, Cairo com-pra!
La-la, up the price, come on!
Niente “nì”, niente “ma”, Cairo com-pra!
La-la, rise the price, come on!

Vagna goes with Comi to Torreira’s store
Money’s just enough for tajarin
Then goes back to Cairo waiting at the door
And as he asks for money he begins to sing

Niente “nì”, niente “ma”, Cairo com-pra
La-la, rise the price, come on!
Niente “nì”, niente “ma”, Cairo com-pra
La-la, rise up the price, come on!
In a couple of years they have bought Baròn
Baròn…
With a couple of brocks playing in the yard,
much older than Trapattones!

Happy ever Cairo after the market place
Vagna paid the bills with empty bags
Cairo goes back home and with his pretty face
then in the evening counts the money of the band.

Niente “nì”, niente “ma”, Cairo com-pra
La-la, rise the price, come on!
Niente “nì”, niente “ma”, Cairo com-pra
La-la, rise the price, come on!

In a couple of years they have bought Veròn
Veròn…
With a couple of brocks playing in the yard,
much older than Trapattones!

Happy ever Cairo after the market place
Vagna paid the bills with empty bags
Comi stays at home and cooks his pretty cakes
And in the evening he’s the eater in the band

Niente “nì”, niente “ma”, Cairo com-pra
La-la, up the price, come on!
Niente “nì”, niente “ma”, Cairo com-pra
La-la, rise the price, come on!
And if you want some fun, say “Cairo-via-di-qua!”
